Greetings!
My name is Kyle Folsom. I am a Piano Technician based in Kansas City, MO! I found inspiration to repair and tune pianos after reading a book called The Piano Shop on the Left Bank at the beginning of 2022, and was immediately hooked. Working on pianos quickly became one of my main passions in all of my post college confusion, and I am now very grateful for the opportunity to serve the people of Kansas City and beyond!

​Between private study with my teacher, tuning at piano showrooms around town, involvement with the Piano Technicians Guild (PTG), and of course - maintaining my personal instruments, I feel very confident in my ability to produce a beautiful sound and increase your desire to play and practice.
Services
Piano Tuning and Pitch Correction
$100-130
Precise and stable tuning at standard A440 pitch. Pitch Correction required if piano hasn't been serviced in a long time.​
Piano Cleaning
$50/hr
Deep and light cleaning options available. Dust removal in action components, under keys, inside the cabinet, and the soundboard. Inquire about metal polishing and small wood defects!
Piano Repair
$50/hr
Temporary or permanent fix options are available at a wide range of cost. Please reach out if you suspect an issue, otherwise I will inform during you tuning appointment.
